Fitness Challenge: Week 4


I knew this day would come, the day I’d have to admit that I failed to complete a fitness challenge. It’s truth telling time…

So I didn’t work out 3 times last week. In fact, I only worked out once. Yikes, I know.

Last week was weird. It was the first week of summer camp at work. There was a tropical storm (which I got stranded in for 3 hours). And the list goes on. It was just one of those off weeks. #exhausting

But that’s life. I just gotta pick myself up and try again this week!

However, I didΒ complete part of the challenge! Last week’s challenge was also to try a new type of fitness! I tried rock climbing with my hubby and loved it!! Oh my goodness, I can already feel myself getting hooked.

It was scary at first (I’m afraid of heights) and super intimidating. Then, once I kept trying, it was so empowering! Each route is different, almost like a puzzle. The challenge was so invigorating. I loved surprising myself and proving to myself I could do it! It made me feel strong. And it wasn’t boring like a typical workout can sometimes feel.

If you ever have the opportunity, I urge you to try rock climbing. It’s unbelievably fun. I can hardly wait to climb again!
